Mr. Thomas Nicodemus Pradhan aged 70 years is a graduate in Electronics from The Indian Technical Education society, Bombay, India in the year 1981 and before that he did his Mechanical at ACC Engineering. Institute, Kymore, Madhya Pradesh, India 1970 batch. He has also done Diploma in Computer Applications from National Centre for Computing Techniques, Hyderabad, India to upgrade his knowledge in Computers n 1989. He was an associated member of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, New Delhi, India (IETE) and also had Membership in B.Sc Electronics in 1991 in Ranchi University, Ranchi, Uttar Pradesh, India.

However as the Technology kept changing he has also upgraded himself to gain more and more knowledge out of passion in new technology and got training in designing with a 16 bit Microprocessor in the year 1986. In 1989 he received training from Fonar Corporation, Melville, New York, USA in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanner - Electronics, Hardware and Software. He also got training in Oracle 7x, Power Builder and Visual Basic from Software Technology Group Inc., Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India in 1996.

 

HE HAVE RECEIVED NATIONAL ACHIEVERS AWARD IN THE YEAR 2009 FOR INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT INDIAN ORGANISATION FOR COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY INDIA.

 

He has extensive experience in agricultural research where he contributed in the design and development of implements, Rain fall simulators, agricultural automation, green houses, data acquisition equipment, Solar energy equipment, post harvest technology, instruments for soil physics and chemistry, Tipping buckets and setting up of large field experiments. He has developed total solutions in high technology areas like IC design, Electronic surveillance, commercial sports software and various other fields over the last 4 decades. He was rendering advisory services to projects in National remote sensing, Indian Navy and defense related projects, apart from the core area of interest in communication relating to GPS and GIS projects. His core research interests relate to agricultural instrumentation, satellite tracking systems, automatic weather control systems, solar energy and logarithm based data acquisition models for multi level calculations over main frames which keep him abreast on pure and applied research as well as contribute to latest scientific developments and inventions. He advises various corporate clients in Hyderabad on technology and other related strategic aspects.

His contributions in engineering field cement, chemical and nuclear power plant manufacturing were also in high.

His contribution in developing the business in the field of Telecommunication software, smart card, GIS and GPS , AI software, high end medical equipments and government project internationally is a very big mile stone in his life. His achievements were recognized in the countries like South Africa, Botswana, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand and Malaysia.

His expertise in technology and manufacturing is as follows. Electronics and communications and its practical application in design and development of instruments and control systems, Systems analysis, integration and administration in UNIX, WINDOWS 2000 advanced servers, AOS (Data general) and data loggers. Programming, Networking and networking administration with various platforms. Designing of electronic instrumentation for process control applications. Sensor design for scientific, industrial and defense applications. Manufacturing of highly sophisticated industrial and power boilers, nuclear reactor housings. Research and development of agricultural farm machinery.

He started his career as a Junior Inspector in ACC Heavy Engineering Plant in Karnataka, India in 1970 and joined International Crops Research Institute for the Semi Arid Tropics, Patancheru, Hyderabad, India (ICRISAT) where he gained immense experience in the field of agricultural sector as he was in research and development and has also invented a lot of equipments and machinery to make agriculture a profitable and eco-friendly environment by reducing the cost and manpower in this sector. Some of his achievements in ICRISAT were research and development of electronic instrumentation for field data logging, collection and analysis. Design and testing of prototype weather control systems for green houses. Maintenance of Farm Power and Equipment Research and Development workshop, design and development of improved farm machinery. Design and development of mobile Rainfall Simulator for creating artificial rain for use in soil water and erosion process studies. Design and application of a system for laboratory and field-testing and calibration of small tipping buckets and flumes for automatic monitoring of hydrological processes in agricultural field experiments. Design and development of solar energy equipment for farm applications and Electronic solar tracking devices.

In the year 1989 he joined Fonar Corporation which is New York based company where he got international exposure in Medical Electronics by getting training there itself and got posted as a Resident Engineer to look after South East Asia (India and Saudi Arabia) Business Development and Maintenance of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Scanners.

He was a Founder director of 3 companies which are M/s Xpert Systems, Hyderabad, India which is a Software Development company in the year 1996 and M/s Slesser & Tom Electronics Pvt. Ltd. which is a R & D company in Electronics, Manufacturing and Agricultural automation in the year 2003 and in the year 2012 he started M/s Venture Tech India Pvt. Ltd. which is also a R & D and Manufacturing company in Agricultural sector and SPM, having its base in Hyderabad, India.

He was also a director in many other companies Nationally and Internationally such as M/s Siyaya Holdings International Ltd. and M/s XDSL Pty. Ltd. both based in Johannesburg, South Africa and they were into Info. Tech & allied activities.

M/s Starnet online services limited, a Vizag based company, M/s World Investigation and Security Enterprise also from Vizag and M/s City Online Services Ltd. Hyderabad, India all of them were into ISP and executes various projects of varied & technical nature all were in the year 2000.

And in 2003 he was appointed as director in M/s Orpine Systems Limited (GIS) and M/s Xpert Globaltech Ltd., (Bio-Technology, and VLSI Design) both based in Hyderabad, India and in the same year he was also appointed as a Consultant in government sector ICAR (India) and ICRISAT (International), India who are into Electronics, Manufacturing and Agriculture and in the same year he was a Technical Director in M/s E2 Labs for few years and the company was specialized in cyber security and ethical hacking training. In 2004 he was a Consultant in M/s Multi 3 Victory Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia who were also in Electronics, Manufacturing and Agriculture. And in the year 2007 he was a director in M/s Synergy Multitech Ltd. having its base in Hyderabad, India having same activities. In the same year he is a Technical Director in M/s Billion Lights India Pvt. Ltd., India who were again into CFL, E-Lamps and LED lights manufacturing.

He is also a Consultant to CRIDA for Agricultural Implement Invention and Development in Agricultural Engineering. NIPHM for Bio-Technology Invention and Development, Design and Development of Equipment for Bio-Fertilizer and Pesticides, IIMR Millets Processing Machinery Design and Development. Two and three stage multi millet processing machine is done.

In the latest company where Mr. Thomas Nicodemus Founded M/s Venture Tech, which an R & D company he has done several innovations in Agricultural sector and few are in the stage of filing the Patents too.

  4. Soil Management options to reduce runoff and erosion on a hard setting Alfisol in the semi-adrid tropics (Soil and Tillage Research, 25 (1992) 195-215 in 1992.
